UNITED STATES: AR medalet, ND (1833-34), Julian-PR-33, NGC graded MS63, 18mm, 1833 Andrew Jackson Second Term Inaugural Medal in silver, struck at the United States Mint, bust of Jackson facing left // multi-line legends pertaining to Jackson’s second Presidential term inauguration, AND[REW) JACKSON INAUGURATED PRESID[EN]T around central legend U.S. / SECOND TERM / MAR. IV. / 1833, R. All of these small medals had to have been struck prior to 1841 because they did not appear on the die inventory listings subsequent to that date. This is a very attractive example, with choice surfaces and a deep, silver-gray toning, with even wear.
