ANTICOSTI ISLAND: AE 1/8, 1870, Ch-250, helmeted bust in Roman style // denomination 1/8 in wreath, letter A at the top, said to be a pattern for either 1/8 penny or 1/8 dollar, rare in this quality, PCGS graded MS65 RD, R. An 1890 catalog by the Scott Stamp & Coin Co attributed this piece to Anticosti Island because of the large letter A on the reverse.
