MUGHAL: Jahangir, 1605-1628, LOT of 17 silver rupees: Agra, Ahmadabad, Ahmadnagar (very clear mint name, EF), Allahabad (as rival against Akbar, now a common type), Akbarnagar, Burhanpur, Delhi, Jahangirnagar, Jalnapur (clear mint name, choice VF); Kashmir, Lahore, Patna, Qandahar (2 pcs, one choice EF), Tatta, and two 19th or early 20th century silver imitations of the Zodiac mohurs of Capricorn & Cancer; average VF condition, some with testmarks, excellent starter's group representing most of Jahangir's mint, all in envelopes, identified by the consignor; retail value $900, lot of 17 pieces.
